Try This Dead Sea Mud And Palo Santo Mask
We are happy to share this week a new recipe highlighting two of our new Peruvian essential oils. Our Dead Sea Mud & Palo Santo Mask is a deep cleansing facial treatment that can be used on almost all skin types. With a mineral-rich Dead Sea mud base and a Spa-inspired blend of essential oils, this mask is perfect for daily or weekly use.
THE MUD OF THE DEAD SEA
Dead Sea mud is a classic main ingredient for face masks. Its rich selection of useful minerals makes it excellent for strengthening and detoxifying the skin. In combination with other skin-loving ingredients like nourishing sea vegetables and powerful essential oils, Dead Sea mud stands out like a power plant. Our Dead Sea Mud & Palo Santo Mask is a great example of how to fully exploit this particular mud.
PALO SANTO ESSENTIAL OIL
The other main ingredient in our Dead Sea mud & Palo Santo mask is Palo Santo essential oil. This oil offers a unique aroma that touches notes of wood and citrus. It is known in Peru as sacred wood oil, because The Palo Santo tree is considered a sacred plant. In skin care, Palo Santo essential oil can be used to support clear and healthy skin.
FROM THE ANDES, MINT ESSENTIAL OIL
Andes mint essential oil, another new ingredient from Peru that we would like to share with you. This unique oil gives the mask a touch of refreshing and fresh aroma. Andean mint is a super strong mint oil that contains a higher concentration of ketones than usual. In other words, he grabs a real punch. Just a few drops give the whole Dead Sea Mud & Palo Santo mask a shiny, minty look.
LAVINDIN ESSENTIAL OIL
The deep woody aroma of Palo Santo essential oil goes very well with our floral and herbaceous Lavandin essential oil. Both oils promote relaxation and well-being and help our recipe provide a soothing spa experience. Tea tree essential oil has also been added to promote clarity and vivacity of the skin.
Bladderwrack Powder is a nutrient-rich marine vegetable harvested from the coast of Maine. Sea vegetables, such as blow wrecks, are often included in Spa formulations to promote deep cleansing and detoxification. We also chose this ingredient for its powdery texture. It helps to make the mask easier to paint and use.
We added lavender hydrosol to balance the thickness of the mud and powder in this formula. The abundance of balancing properties makes our Dead Sea Mud & Palo Santo Mask all the more effective as a special treatment for the skin.

Usage And Packaging
Apply about a tablespoon (25 grams) to clean, damp skin. Leave the mask on for up to 15 minutes before rinsing. Follow with Toner and moisturizer, as needed.
We used flat 2 ounce PET jars to pack our mask. It would also look great in flint glass.
The mask should be used immediately or refrigerated for up to two weeks. Preservatives can be added to extend the shelf life.
